Our Server is up and running on NON hardcore mode. It is an 18 slot server, so come on in and have fun. We currently have the server set to allow new players a chance to level up and get their packages without the worry of a pansy ass level 36-50 coming in and being an ass.

We encourage new players to come and level and have a good time. All we ask is obey our server rules and respect our server and other players, make some new friends and maybe even meet some old ones.

Intro and Welcome

Hello 224th SWAT members and all of our guests. We are the 224th SWAT Gaming Clan. Our clan is run by 224thFlatline and is assisted by 224thWhiteWolf. Our clan is about respect for our members, guests and our server. We strive to have the best & most enjoyable battlefield there is in Battlefield Bad Company 2, but we cannot do it without the help of our members and guests.

We have a new website, which is still under construction, with the ability to add more features to the site in the future. Please visit regularly to receive updates on what is happening at the 224th SWAT Clan.

We are about fair play and equal rights to all players, especially new players, meaning we don't think a level 36-50 should be on a server for new players to the game making it hard to level and get equipment while they get easy kills and points. The reason you see so many high level players on "noob"servers is because they can have easy kills and fast points. They have experience in the game, but lack the skills to play against others their level. So they take the easy way to points to make themselves feel like they have skills.

We called ourselves 224th SWAT because we are players who play as a team and adapt to the environment of each map. If you are looking for some fun, would like to level and get your kits and would like an easy introduction into the Battlefield Bad Company 2 game, 224th SWAT is the place to be.

All we ask of you is when you join our servers, please read our rules on the server. They are always scrolling and are strictly enforced . We would like to promote a fun social environment throughout the Battlefield Bad Company 2 community.

Server Rules

At this time, our server is only allowing players who are new or low level to join. This means anyone over level 35, for now, will not be allowed to join our server and play. We feel most, if not all, players just starting out in BFBC2 wish to have fun, level up and get their kits.

But having a server full of higher level players with a clear advantage with weapons, kits and experience, makes it hard and frustrating for some players. This is why we have the server for new players and players just wanting to level up and get their kits.

We have noticed two things most higher level and uninformed players complain about on BFBC 2 servers: snipers camping and bunny hopping. We feel very strongly on this issue. And our views are simple: snipers camping is a REAL WORLD tactic. Bunny hopping IS NOT.

Bunny Hopping: NOT a real world tactic. This is often claimed to be a real world tactic, when in FACT it is not. Running and ducking for cover or jumping over a wall to use for cover is. Bunny Hopping is slow, uses a lot of energy and makes you an easier target in the real world, especially for automatic weapon fire.

Snipers Camping: IS A REAL WORLD TACTIC PERIOD. A sniper is a skilled military marksman whose job it is to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a CONCEALED position. A snipers goal in war is to reduce the enemy's ability to fight by carefully striking a few high value or targets of opportunity. Their job is to also provide reconnaissance, scouting, surveillance, counter-sniping and anti-material tasks (destruction of military equipment). Snipers have been known to conceal themselves for days before taking one shot and moving.

Although snipers do camp, we encourage players not to abuse this as well. There is no reason to sit in one place an entire round. Take a kill, or shot and then move if no other targets present themselves. Usually, you will find by moving, the enemy has a harder time finding you and you put yourself in a position to get another kill or two.

Our server rules scroll in game, so please become familiar with them and obey them. We will accept no excuses for violating our server rules.
